Mitcham questions
Often it is mildew from a damp room, especially on a mattress against an outside wall. Surface mildew can usually be treated and sanitised. If it has gone deep into the mattress we will tell you, because replacement is then the safer option.
Keep it off solid bases where possible, pull it slightly away from outside walls, air the room daily, and use a breathable protector. A dehumidifier helps in very cold, closed-up rooms.

Usually 4–6 hours, sometimes less on a warm, breezy day. We extract as much moisture as possible during the clean, and we will tell you how to speed it up — open windows, a fan, and not making the bed until the surface is fully dry. Book a morning slot and you are sleeping on it that night.
In most cases, yes — the smell almost always, the stain usually. We use an enzyme treatment that breaks urine down at the source instead of perfuming over it, then extract it. Very old or repeatedly soaked mattresses can keep a faint mark, and we will tell you that honestly before you pay.
It dramatically reduces them and, more importantly, removes the allergen-heavy dust and skin flakes they live on. Our dust mite treatment adds a HEPA-filtered vacuum pass and an anti-allergen treatment.
