Bedrooms are compact, the mattress is often the landlord’s or came with the lease, and there is rarely a spare bed to use while it dries. Those three facts shape how a city mattress clean needs to go.
City apartments tend to have one of two mattresses: a mid-range pocket-spring queen supplied with a furnished lease, or a foam mattress-in-a-box bought online and delivered to the lobby. Both clean well, but foam holds moisture longer, so we use a lower-moisture pass with more extraction. Student rooms are usually king singles on a slatted base, which is good news — airflow underneath speeds drying. Our machine is compact enough for a lift and a narrow hallway, and we only need a standard power point.
The problems in the city follow the way people live here. Furnished leases change hands often, so plenty of tenants are sleeping on a stranger’s old sweat stains and want them gone. Short-stay apartments collect the full range of guest accidents. Students moving out need a mattress fresh enough to pass the final inspection. And in high-rise bedrooms with small windows, summer heat means more sweating and a faster build-up of yellowing at the pillow end.
Timing is the main thing. Book a morning slot and the mattress is usually dry by early evening, so you are not sleeping on the couch. We keep moisture low, open windows where the building allows, and leave the bed unmade until it is dry to the touch. For end-of-lease cleans we give you a dated receipt, and for short-stay hosts with more than one bed in the building, every mattress after the first is 10% off. Usually, yes. Tell us about loading zones, visitor parks or building rules when you book so we can plan the visit. Our equipment fits in a lift and through a standard apartment door, and we only need a normal power point.
No. We use low-residue products and extract them back out, so there is nothing left sitting in the mattress. Open a window during drying and the room just smells clean — which matters in a small, closed-up city bedroom.

Usually 4–6 hours, sometimes less on a warm, breezy day. We extract as much moisture as possible during the clean, and we will tell you how to speed it up — open windows, a fan, and not making the bed until the surface is fully dry. Book a morning slot and you are sleeping on it that night.
In most cases, yes — the smell almost always, the stain usually. We use an enzyme treatment that breaks urine down at the source instead of perfuming over it, then extract it. Very old or repeatedly soaked mattresses can keep a faint mark, and we will tell you that honestly before you pay.
It dramatically reduces them and, more importantly, removes the allergen-heavy dust and skin flakes they live on. Our dust mite treatment adds a HEPA-filtered vacuum pass and an anti-allergen treatment. No clean makes a mattress mite-free forever — a washable protector and a clean every 6–12 months keeps numbers down.
