The short answer
Professional mattress cleaning in Australia typically costs about $80–$200 for a queen, depending on the method, add-ons and minimum call-out fees. The cheapest advertised price is not always the cheapest job. When comparing quotes, ask three questions. Is there a minimum call-out fee, and how much? Some services advertise a queen for under $80 but will not come out for less than $115. Are stains included, or priced after inspection? And is that price for one side or both? A quote that answers all three in writing is worth more than a low headline number.
A decent new queen mattress costs several hundred to a few thousand dollars, and a mattress that is still supportive can have years of life left. If yours is structurally sound — no deep sagging, no broken springs — and the problem is stains, smell or allergens, cleaning costs a fraction of replacing it.
